Support and Information Event

Exercise, physical activity and movement for chronic pain, plus information on Pain Management
Come along to Pain Support ACT’s Support and Information event. The event will start with a short information session about useful courses on pain management. There will be a short discussion on what helps you manage your pain, and the role of exercise, physical activity and movement. From walking to the letter box to a supervised gym workout, chat about what’s worked or not worked for you. And what if the thought of moving fills you with concern that your pain will be exacerbated? Don’t worry, you’re not alone. This event will be facilitated by member Suzanne Newnham who was a tai chi instructor for 30 years and also experiences chronic pain.
BYO: Your lunch if you’d like to have it with us. Cushion if you need one. Coffee, tea, biscuits provided.
